The event is the only one of its type in the UK where the audience have the capability to vote for the team they liked the most using their mobile phone - purely for fun. Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.
Now in its 11th year, right here at Stanford Hall - 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK's best firework companies compete against each other with a 10 minute firework display choreographed to music followed by a finale display from organisers MLE Pyrotechnics. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are quite different to the material available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks - those that are for professional use only and the biggest available in the UK.

"A SMS system commisioned specifically for the event, will allow the audience to get involved and vote for their favourite team. Unique real time updates will be given where available by our announcer Russ McClean." Trevor Golding, MLE
On site there will be childrens entertainment (bouncy castles, rides, and similar attractions). Music suited to everyones tastes plays at a comfortable level whilst you grab a spot, sit on the grass or setup your tables and chairs. You can either bring a picnic or buy from the vendors on site.
Russ McLean, our voice on the night, interviews the teams and talks about the events and firework industry at various points throughout. A lot of work goes on prior to the event to try and keep you involved in the hours before the shows start. Of course you're welcome to just sit, relax, chill with friends and family and do your own thing. It's your event, you decide.
Just prior to the displays a comprehensive demonstration will take place outlining the different types of fireworks and how the companies utilise state of the art technology to produce stunning effects. This is the most advanced demo at any firework event - computer fired.
There will be food and drink (bar and soft drinks) available on site from licensed vendors, however please feel free to bring your own. You may also bring a picnic and table/chairs and do get in touch if you're bringing a big party and want to have an outside caterer of your own.
No BBQ's are allowed on site under any circumstances.
We have an allocated area in the audience field for gazebos to be erected. You must purchase a gazebo permit from the organisers and bring your own gazebo. The maximum size is 3 x 3 metres. Gazebo permits cost £20 each and can be bought before the day or on the day. We must stress that there are a limited number of permits available and we cannot guarantee there is space as some events sell very quickly.
There is adequate free car parking on site. Please follow the entrance and exit signs and drive carefully following any instructions given by stewards.
Exiting - It is not permissable to drive out prior to the fireworks finishing. Cars and entrances are stopped for safety reasons during the show so we would advise any one booking lifts or taxi's to not have them arrive until after 12 midnight. Should you wish to book a taxi for arrival outside the main entrance you would have to walk out. Please contact us in advance for any special requests and we will do our very best to accomodate. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but it is purely for reasons of safety.
The site can cater for disabled persons but it may not be suitable depending on your circumstances. Rough ground and dark sections may be present, for further advice please contact us and we'd be glad to help. There is a disabled car parking section - please inform the staff as you arrive and they will direct you accordingly. Signs for disabled parking will also be in place.

Stanford Hall is the setting for the event, a stately home set in the border crossings of Leicestershire/Northamptonshire/Warwickshire countryside. Why not enjoy the landscape and isolated atmosphere with a picnic and fireworks.
